The L A Family Housing campus is designed around a courtyard as a hub to a community of services addressing needs across the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. These include health clinic that delivers medical and wellness, dental, job and housing center, a community/training room; and an area for regional providers to extend their programs. Developed around a central courtyard, this complex  of housing, services, and L A Family Administration, is intended to offer the chronically homeless not only opportunities to develop a firmer foundation, but also to provide a welcoming sanctuary. All human actions and interactions stem from spirit and attitude, and a rich and sheltering environment is a first step in establishing calm and community.
