This project revitalized the historic Lakeside Golf Club of Hollywood by creating a new, cost-effective entry sequence and porte-cochère, restoring its original architectural charm and connection to Toluca Lake while adding sustainable features like EV charging stations. The design re-established the club's prominence through thoughtful interventions, including parking reconfiguration and landscaping reminiscent of traditional Andalusian streetscapes.

A custom Spanish Colonial Revival home for a young couple in Clovis, California, honoring their Mexican heritage while meeting their desire for a modern, open floor plan. The design creatively blends traditional spatial sequences with contemporary living, incorporating rich details like Spanish Azulejo tiles, varying ceiling configurations, and a focus on natural light and views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The Banning Permanent Supportive Housing
Wilmington, CA

Addressing homelessness in Wilmington, Los Angeles, The Banning community provides 64 units of permanent supportive housing, thoughtfully integrating a busy commercial boulevard with a residential neighborhood. The design emphasizes communal spaces and outdoor connectivity, creating a comfortable and supportive living environment.

Montebello, CA


The Boulevard is a multi-phased, mixed-use development in Montebello, featuring 91 units of permanent supportive housing, 15,000sf of commercial space, and a 5,000sf social incubator. The project addresses the revitalization of Whittier Boulevard, blending supportive services, commercial activity, and community spaces to create a dynamic urban hub.

Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden Gate House
Arcadia, CA


The Gate House rehabilitation at the Los Angeles County Arboretum preserved and highlighted the building's Midcentury architecture by restoring its original open design and removing later modifications. The project re-establishes a welcoming, open, and accessible entrance to the gardens, emphasizing the building's historic significance.

A capstone building in Alys Beach, aims to foster civic engagement through a mix of public and private uses, drawing inspiration from turn-of-the-century seaside resorts. Its playful, coastal architecture and fortified construction create a lasting, vibrant urban node, featuring ground-floor retail and residential units with views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Mar Vista, CA


A 100% affordable, 50-unit development in Los Angeles, maximizes density on a small site to provide housing for low-income families and developmentally disabled residents. As the first 100% electric affordable housing complex in Los Angeles, it achieved LEED Platinum certification, prioritizing sustainability and quality of life.

Oak Terrace & Sky Apartments
at Jordan Downs

Los Angeles, CA


Collaboratively designed by two non-profit developers and HACLA, delivers 173 affordable housing units across Sky Apartments and Oak Terrace. Guided by Mediterranean architectural principles, the project prioritizes resident security, community, and privacy through courtyard housing, community rooms, and sustainable features like solar panels and native landscaping, achieving LEED Gold certification.

Rivian Pasadena Showroom 
Pasadena, CA


Rivian’s new Pasadena showroom artfully merges historic preservation with modern retail design, restoring a landmark retail space to display their vehicles. The project features exposed natural brick, original wood trusses, and polished concrete, enhanced with contemporary lighting and projection displays, all accomplished within a tight two-month timeframe.

Tujunga, CA


A 5,800-square-foot childcare center completed in October 2024, utilizes a train-themed design to create an immersive and imaginative learning environment. The project blends playful motifs with functional classrooms, fostering wellbeing and exploration for young learners while prioritizing sustainable materials and child-focused design.

Elliot N. Duchon Concert Hall
Jurupa Valley, CA


The Elliott N. Duchon Concert Hall at Rubidoux High School fulfills the school's need for a dedicated performing arts venue, supporting its thriving music program. 
Inspired by the rhythm of music, the 12,506-square-foot facility creates a dialogue between spaces through transparency and sequence, offering students and visitors unexpected views and fostering a connection between performance and learning.

Arcadia, CA


The 1,530 SF GSGLA Flagship Experience Center transforms a retail space into a hub for flexible retail, training, and meetings. Through innovative millwork, rolling displays, and adaptable furniture, the design seamlessly transitions between uses, maximizing efficiency and embodying a future-forward Girl Scout brand identity with bright colors and sustainable materials.

Blossom Market Hall
San Gabriel, CA


The Blossom Market Hall project revitalized a historic building by opening up its interior with vaulted ceilings and a night market-inspired lighting design, creating a bustling atmosphere for 13 accessible food stalls. This adaptive reuse project in San Gabriel fosters community engagement through culinary and cultural experiences, including a stage and second-story meeting space.

CSU Long Beach Fine Arts Building 1,
University Telecommunications Building, & Theater Arts Building Interior Renovations

Long Beach, CA


The renovation of the Fine Arts 1 Building, the University Telecommunications Center, and the Theater Arts Building at CSU Long Beach relocated the Photography, Film & Electronic Arts, and Advanced Media Production programs, enhancing existing assets to create new, functional homes. The project emphasized natural lighting in the Fine Arts 1 Building, maximized space in the University Telecommunications Center with an all-gender restroom, and provided a professional-grade TV studio in the Theater Arts Building.

CSU Dominguez Hills - New Orthotics & Prosthetics Fabrication Lab
Carson, CA


To consolidate the Orthotics and Prosthetics program, CSU Dominguez Hills is constructing a 5,000 SF fabrication lab that blends new construction with existing campus architecture. The project maximizes space through integrated outdoor areas and classroom extensions, while honoring the campus's original 1960s design and providing a critical repair facility for the 2028 Paralympic Games.
